Using images from this site

The photographs and illustrations on gijsvanwulfen.com were made for Gijs van Wulfen. This page says who owns them and how to ask permission, so that a reader and a search engine find the same answer.

Who owns the images

All photographs, illustrations and article covers on this site are the copyright of Gijs van Wulfen, unless a credit on the page itself says otherwise. The same information is in the page data of every article image: Gijs van Wulfen as the creator and as the copyright holder.

Announcing a keynote

Organisers of a keynote by Gijs van Wulfen may use the images on this site to announce that keynote, without asking first. Name him with the image and, online, link back to gijsvanwulfen.com. This is the usual arrangement for speakers and covers the event page, the programme and the social posts about the event.

Asking permission

For any other use, an image needs written permission first. Email gijs@gijsvanwulfen.com and mention four things, so the answer can come in one reply rather than three:

You will get an answer within a few working days.

If permission is given

Two things are asked in return. Name Gijs van Wulfen with the image, and online, link back to gijsvanwulfen.com. Do not crop or edit the image in a way that changes what it shows.

Permission is for the use that was asked for. A new use is a new question, and that is usually a short email.
